Business analysis is used in a variety of contexts, roles and industries – from business architects, business, systems and data analysts to management consultants, product managers, requirements engineers and marketing specialists. In practice, many professionals perform analytical tasks intuitively, often without realising that they are using business analysis techniques. They rely on their experience or organisational best practice. However, whenever we seek optimal solutions, evaluate available information, or make decisions, we are actually engaging in an analytical process.
IIBA® – ECBA™ Exam Prep is a training programme accredited by IIBA® – the International Institute of Business Analysis™ – a global organisation that has been setting standards in business analysis for over 20 years. This course prepares students for the globally recognised Entry Certificate in Business Analysis™ (ECBA™). It is designed for both aspiring business analysts and professionals with some experience in the field who wish to consolidate their knowledge and ensure that their practices are in line with recognised standards. The course introduces participants to the IIBA® approach to business analysis, covering key concepts, strengthening understanding of business analysis and guiding through the whole process through the lens of value, change, stakeholders, context, solution and need.
Business analysis skills are invaluable regardless of one’s position, helping to drive better business results. Analytical thinking – along with complex problem solving and critical thinking – is recognised by the World Economic Forum as one of the most important skills for the future.
Achieving ECBA™ certification not only validates the holder’s business analysis and organisational change management skills, but also builds confidence, reinforces professional boundaries and transforms intuitive actions into deliberate, structured practices in daily work.
