Professional Scrum Master™ – Advanced is an advanced training designed for Scrum Masters with at least one year of experience who want to deepen their knowledge, strengthen their skills, and accelerate their professional growth.
Unlike the Professional Scrum Master™ (PSM) course, which focuses on how to use the Scrum framework and the accountabilities of the Scrum Master, PSM-A goes a step further. It explores the stances that define an effective Scrum Master and provides a deeper understanding of how they serve Developers, the Product Owner, and the organization as a whole. Participants will explore areas critical to becoming a successful Scrum Master, including how Scrum principles and values guide decision-making, and how Scrum Masters can shape the environment to enable agility to thrive.
Since the role of the Scrum Master is complex, the course also emphasizes the ability to adopt different stances – such as teacher, coach, mentor, facilitator, or change agent – depending on the needs of the team and organization.
Inprogress is a recognized member of the Scrum.org™ Professional Training Network.
