Facilitation is an approach to conducting solution-oriented team meetings. The person who conducts such meetings, i.e. the facilitator, uses a range of techniques, tools and models to increase effectiveness in achieving this goal.
Facilitation Foundation training allows you to learn the most important mechanisms governing teamwork. Participants learn how to lead a meeting to effectively support a team in solving even a very complex and complicated problem.
The training equips participants with a set of skills and tools, useful in conducting facilitated workshops. The aim of the training is to prepare participants to conduct such workshops on their own and to acquire the skills to use facilitation techniques in their daily work.
Purpose of the training
- Gaining knowledge of methods to increase the effectiveness of management meetings, crisis teams, board sessions, etc.;
- Improving the effectiveness of team meetings;
- Understanding that simply “talking” about a complex problem does not lead to its understanding or resolution;
- Becoming familiar with the factors that influence team performance and learning tools to handle challenging situations.

- multiple-choice, multi-response questions test,

- pass threshold: 50% (40 out of 80 possible points),
- language of the exam: English,
- duration: 150 minutes,
- mode: online (after online training) or in-person (after in-person training),
- date: the exam is held at the end of the 2nd day of training,
- open book – candidates are allowed to use Facilitation Practitioner manual,
- validity of the certificate: 3 years,
- the participant who scores the necessary number of points in the exam is awarded the international certificate in electronic form.
