The ITIL® 4 Specialist: Collaborate, Assure & Improve (CAI) course unifies five essential practices: Relationship Management, Supplier Management, Service Level Management, Continual Improvement, and Information Security Management into a cohesive pathway for enhancing service value streams. Designed for professionals in roles such as service owners, practice leads, compliance managers, and change agents, this module is part of the Practice Manager certification path.

Through this course, participants gain deep insight into how these practices contribute to effective collaboration, assurance, and ongoing improvement. The module emphasizes developing consistent relationships with stakeholders and suppliers, monitoring and assuring service performance and security, and embedding robust improvement cycles, all within the context of the ITIL Service Value System.

Learners study how to apply key Practice Success Factors and metrics to assess capabilities and maturity across practices. They explore how information, technology, partners, and governance interact to enable positive outcomes. Topics include aligning practice performance with strategic objectives, managing risk and compliance, orchestrating continual improvement initiatives, and delivering assurance without compromising agility.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to integrate these five practices across value streams, leverage performance data to drive insights, maintain effective collaboration across teams and suppliers, and lead sustainable improvement efforts. The training is also structured to prepare learners for the ITIL® 4 Specialist: Collaborate, Assure & Improve certification exam.

What our clients say

Real opinions. Real experiences.

What stood out to me in the ITIL® 4 Foundation training was how clearly it showed the connection between IT services and business value. It shifted the way I see IT in the bigger picture of the organisation. Instead of thinking of IT as only about tools and processes, I now see it as a driver of outcomes and value for the business.
