AgileBA (Agile Business Analyst) is a set of best practices related to business analysis within organizations that have adopted an agile approach to project delivery. AgileBA is based on the processes, roles, and products defined in the DSDM Agile Project Framework (DSDM – Dynamic Systems Development Method). AgileBA provides guidance that enables effective business analysis throughout the entire project lifecycle. Within this approach, the role of the Business Analyst is clearly highlighted, along with their responsibilities and interactions with project stakeholders. 

Objectives of the Training 

  • To provide an understanding of business analysis concepts in alignment with the AgileBA® approach. 
  • To explore how business analysis can be applied effectively during the different phases of the agile project lifecycle. 
  • To prepare participants for the official, accredited AgileBA® Foundation examination.

Exam and Certification 

  • non-mandatory exam, 
  • multiple-choice, single-response questions test,  
  • number of questions: 50, 
  • pass threshold: 50% (25 out of 50 possible points),  
  • language of the exam: English, Polish,  
  • duration: 40 minutes,  
  • mode: online (after online training) or in-person (after in-person training), / online unsupervised,   
  • date: the exam is held at the end of the 2nd day of training,  
  • closed book – no use of materials,  
  • validity of the certificate: indefinite,  
  • the participant who scores the necessary number of points in the exam is awarded the international certificate in electronic form. 

Individuals who obtained the AgileBA® certification after 1 May 2017 are eligible for one year of free membership with the Agile Business Consortium.
